Navigating predominantly white spaces at work have you feeling like you are one second away from going off on someone?

Find yourself going from 0 to 100 at home and with loved ones even though you didn’t mean to?

Feeling overwhelmed? Stretched thin? Like you have no idea how to even begin to get it together?

Or maybe you are feeling curious about what keeps getting in the way of being able to live a life with ease, joy, rest, pleasure.

If this sounds like you, then I have great news! You’re in the right place!

A Soft Place to Land Small Group Coaching program is for you if:

  • You notice that you are feeling drained at the end of every day and are not clear why that is the case (hello being the only or one of a few Black women in your mainly white office)

  • Whenever you go to take care of yourself you find yourself feeling guilty or like you can’t make time for it

  • You are trying to navigate life roles (parent, caregiver, worker, partner etc. ) and feel like it’s taking over every aspect of your identity

  • You feel ready to explore a new way of being in the world that includes kindness towards yourself and learning to put yourself on your to-do list

  • You want access to a coach (Me!) to help guide you on this journey to bringing more softness into your life

  • You are wanting to be with a group of Black women who are also on this journey that is supportive and empowering

About the program

  • An 8 week, virtual small group coaching program focused on helping Black women feel seen, heard, and validated in their experiences in navigating these whack ass systems that work hard to keep us down

  • Learning how to reclaim our right to being vulnerable and accessing ease, joy, rest, pleasure daily as a remedy to the toll that these systems take on us

  • We’ll meet for an hour once a week (1.5 hours for the first and last sessions) where there is an opportunity to ask questions of me, your cohort, and get support as you explore a new way of being

  • You’ll have access to short videos and worksheets that support your learning as we move through each topic

  • The ability to ask me questions outside of our meetings and receive an video response once a week

What can you expect to get out of the program?

  • More clarity about what is currently missing in your life that keeps you from taking care of yourself and being your own cheerleader

  • A deeper understanding of how systems outside of our control make it difficult for Black women to lean into being vulnerable and prioritize their own health and well-being

  • A way to review your current routines and practices to see where you may be able to make changes that better support a life with more ease and softness

  • How to lean into vulnerability so that you can get the support you need and have relationships that feel fulfilling

  • Support from an expert (Me!) and a cohort of like-minded women as you learn to embrace your needs, communicate them to others, and practice a new way of being in the world

Here’s what you would be committing to:

  • Attending each weekly virtual session live (there will be 7 hour long sessions total). This is the best way to get real time support and practice implementing the tools you are learning.

  • Watching the short (5-10 minute) videos and completing the accompanying worksheets in between each sessions so that you can be prepared to ask questions and process reactions each week. You should plan to give yourself 30 minutes to an hour each week to sit with material. Think of it as your designated “you” time!

  • Coming to each session with an open mind, ready to receive support from the cohort, and give support to others.

Cost and Refund Policy

The cost to join this group coaching program is $1,500. This includes the 8 weekly coaching sessions, materials to help you prepare for each session, and access to me and your cohort.

There will be no refunds after the sessions have started. Why? Because I want you to be fully invested in yourself and honest about your ability to commit to the process and the work. We all know that spending money often makes us feel more accountable and encourages us to think about what we are investing in before we jump in. If you are ready to gain clarity and develop a plan to access more softness in your life then this investment in yourself will be worth it!

 FAQs

  • The short answer is no. This is not group therapy. This is a group coaching program.

  • Great question! In group coaching we will be focusing more on problem-solving for a specific issue. In this case helping you learn to prioritize yourself and your needs. We will not be doing the deeper work that tends to take place in therapy where you spend more time exploring your past and looking how it impacts your present.

  • This program is not designed to treat anxiety and/or depression or other mental health concerns. This program will work best for individuals who feel like they have a healthy set of coping skills to navigate any potential mental health issues. If you have serious concerns about coping with your mental health issues I would recommend seeking out the support of a therapist.

  • This program works best if you are able to attend each session live. There will not be recordings of the sessions for you to view so if you miss a week you will miss out on what was discussed. Additionally, viewing the videos and completing the worksheets helps you be better able to engage in the conversation and ask questions during our live calls.
